Salvaged Books Become Art
LA artist Mike Stilkey reclaims books that have been discarded by library's and uses them as a canvas to paint his imaginative characters on to. Some of his characters look like they might appear in the old books he paints on. Would be great to see an exhibition of his work in the UK.
