A few weeks back I saw a few posts on facebook talking about the idea of setting up a huge water slide on Park Street, one of Bristols busiest streets. I thought to myself that ideas like that only get talked about, the usually dull people that have the decision making power would definitely have given that a big no, but I was wrong. In fact it has been given a big fat yes, by a playful city that seems to be living up to its quirky image. Two days ago a ballot opened to give fair opportunity for those that want to slide down landmark street and has already received a staggering amount of entries. The concept was thought up by Bristolian artist Luke Jerram, and will make its wet debut on May 4th, I've put my name down for a ticket, if you want to too click here.
