So this week it's Nikitch, a producer that is from the city of Lyon, France. According to his soundcloud page, his real name is Nicolas Morant and he started on his path as a classical musician, but has now turned his attention to producing. To me, at times his sound could be compared to that of Flying Lotus, Burial or Julio Bashmore but still original enough to stake its claim at uniqueness. I've played his track 'Radiated Light' a bit too much since hearing him on the much admired Gilles Peterson BBC6 music show, there is no doubt that we'll be hearing more of Nikitch as his career develops.
